[Mesorah] Malka - Is it always "The King", or sometimes it can be just "King"

But now I checked using Dicta. I could not find המלכא (also not in the bible)I found in the Talmud many מלכאand as I mentioned before, more than 100 in Daniel and Ezra togetherand more than 1000 in Targumim (Onkelos on the Torah, Targum Yonatan, etc.)

I came into this thinking Aramaic also has a hei hayedi'ah.

But it doesn't, the "-a" suffix is the definite article. What an
incredible thing for me not to have noticed all these years. I started
learning gemara in 1975.

But nw the reverse question, why would something get the -a suffix if
it wasn't a ha- situation in Hebrew?
