While tikkanta with a kaf is most common today, Chabad still 
has it with a kuf. And Sa'dia gaon, many years before, also 
has a kuf.

However, as to Teimanim, it isn't so simple.  Traditional 
teimanim, who used the Baladi nusach do not say tikkanta 
shabbat at all and the same for the more modern Darda'im. 
As Darda'im don't say 'aleinu l'shabeiach, they don't say 
l'takken 'olam. The Shami nusach was taken from the 
Sefaradim when their siddurim got to Teiman so they copied 
what they saw.
