Also I'm just saying EG the ch'shash for daveing y'kum purkan from the side feels to me like a humra of the month club thing. If you have such a minhag for several generations that would be different.  My experience has been different. And I find that such changes often have negative unintended consequences, humras leading to kullos so to speak.
