It might be deeper than that. How is Yom Kippur qua Yom haKippurim
related to it as Shabbos Shabbason? Perhaps there is a reason why YK
on Shabbos would provide an extra level of kaparah. As I don't have a
good (meaning: more than just a sweet vertl) answer to the question, I
have no idea if there would be a Shabbos connection or not.
