The awkwardness that people feel is the use of the bet 
before tov as they would say r'u tov, see good or see 
goodness.

I think that Kohelet 2:1 might be the source of R' Wolbe 
because it says see b'tov. Also, see Kohelet 7:14 for 
further backing.
