This works in the siddur in general.
Another example: "Vetheir libeinu" -- one beis -- "beSorasekha, vedabeiq
libeinu" -- again one beis -- "bemitzvosekha." But then "veyacheid
levaveinu" -- the heart that is torn between two yetzarim has two veis'es.
