Until I read R' Micha's appreciation of him at https://aspaqlaria.aishdas.org/2023/05/24/rsm/ just now, I knew him only from his posts here. Although his knowledge was in a different league to that of most of us, he was always eager to teach us, and would respond patiently and in detail to almost any question, without a trace of self-esteem and often with humor (especially in his exchanges with RDB - how is he BTW?).The Mesorah group will be poorer without him.Danny Levy
