As for melo vs malei, there might be different implications about iqar
and tafel. "Melo kol haaretz" might have been chosen to imply that the
point of kol haaretz was to be a "container" for Kevodo. As opposed to
His Kavod hapens to fill aretz that exists for some other function.

That would be a tempting take for a Chabadnik, as it makes the pasuq
yet another source about the world existing in order to be a "dirah
batachtonim".
