[Mesorah] tarum bishu'asecha ki lishu'as'cha.

This may be an obvious and easy question, since we say it three
times per day: 

In the prayer before sh'ma koleinu in the shemona esrei
(es tzemach David...) it says "tarum BISHU'ASECHA ki LISHU'AS'CHA." Why
is there a segol in the first one, and yet missing in the second one?
