I now concede

1 as the Masoretic text has it is indeed  an infinitive.

2. V'lokachatt is the correct form of 2nd person feminine past having a heis with a patach and ending with a tav with a dageish and a sh'va.

3. I am sorry for any confusion on my part

4 I started this to prove whether the heis in the past tense took a patach or a sh'va

It does take a patach but my prooftext from vayeitzei was flawed.  B"H there are other proofs in the concordance
