I understand the Gra's point. Saying Hallel every day is *assur*. That
refers to both the shoresh of the word, and having the list of eight
praises rather than 7. 8, beyond *teva*, rather than 7's acknowledging
the *qodesh
*underlying *teva*. Note that Yaaleh veYavo has 8 terms from *ya'aleh *to *
veyipaqeid*. Qaddish should really be about "*mah rabu ma'asekha Hashem*"
rather than daily Hallel over remembered *nissim geluyim*.
Avodah? Yeah, I think I will.
BTW, does anyone else want me to change the list setting so that "reply"
goes to the list rather than the author?
