oops.  forgot to check geshem without the definite article.  that appears in
Joel 2:23

morid haggeshem is from the prayerbook.

the only uses of root YRD with geshem I can find in Tanakh are
Isaiah 55:10 כִּ֡י כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר יֵרֵד֩ הַגֶּ֨שֶׁם וְהַשֶּׁ֜לֶג מִן־הַשָּׁמַ֗יִם...
and (more relevant perhaps)
Ezekiel 34:26 וְנָֽתַתִּ֥י אוֹתָ֛ם וּסְבִיב֥וֹת גִּבְעָתִ֖י בְּרָכָ֑ה וְהֽוֹרַדְתִּ֤י הַגֶּ֨שֶׁם֙ בְּעִתּ֔וֹ גִּשְׁמֵ֥י בְרָכָ֖ה יִֽהְיֽוּ׃
