[Mesorah] Dam - Damim

[Gershon Rothstein]

I noticed that the thief who enters a /machteres/ has no /damim/ (p' 
Mishpatim) while the accidental killer who leaves the /ir miklat/ has no 
/dam (p' Maasei). Any ideas what the difference is?
