[Mesorah] Uvtuvo Mechdesh - Hamechdesh Betuvo

Hi,
Both forms appear, and the choice is normally stylistic.  In this case, 
"uvtuvo" is set in contrast to "berachamim" to make a sort of mini 
chiastic structure (ha-meir...berachamim <--> uvtuvo mechadesh).  It 
serves to shift the emphasis of the sentence to the opening word 
"uvtuvo".  In "hamechadesh", we're in the middle of describing God 
through all the things He does--poel, oseh, ba'al, zorea, natzmiach, 
borei, bora, adon, mechaddesh.  It's clear that the emphasis is on the 
"mechaddesh", so it comes first.
