I believe that the appropriate exception is "ati m'richik"  אתי  
מרחיק.  The word הכית (hikita/hikisa) is מלעיל (mila'el)  
and ends with a קמץ (kamatz). The accent on בצור (va'tzur) is  
not on the first syllable, so the standard rule applies. The accent on  
בו (bo) is on the first syllable triggering the exception clause.
