I wouldn't call all of these "shtick".  E.g.

>  1. High Holiday tune for the first Maariv*

I'd call 1 and 22 standard minhag, while 3 would seem more a matter
of whether, given the kind of shul and the kind of crowd, it's a
practical way to bring in money.
