Given: Yeast isn't chameitz

Then what I was suggesting in an earlier post is:
Could GLUTEN be the common denominator of the species that produce
Chameitz?.

And if so what would this imply about the "oat" controversy?

IOW if "Oats" fails as a form of  barley/wheat, could it passanyway because
after all it has a significant amount of Gluten?

Furthermore is that Rashi's position?
And therefore could this be Chazal's position?
