<p class="MsoNormal" dir="ltr" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 16pt; line-height: 120%;"><font face="Times New Roman">Helping families of the sick and needy for the High Holidays</font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" dir="ltr" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 120%;"><font face="Times New Roman"> </font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" dir="ltr" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 120%;"><font face="Times New Roman">We
are a group of students and young professionals who have taken upon
ourselves twice a year- before Rosh Hashana and before Pesach- to help
families in need who live in severe poverty. The families which we aim
to help are those who can’t work because of various types of illnesses
and other handicaps. </font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" dir="ltr" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 120%;"><font face="Times New Roman">These
families cannot help themselves and so we are helping them to celebrate
the holidays with food baskets containing all essentials. </font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" dir="ltr" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 120%;"><font face="Times New Roman">The
families were carefully selected from the “Ezer Mitziyon” charity
database, a charity which does a lot in many fields for many families.
However, Ezer Mitziyon is so massively overloaded that it cannot provide
the help that these families need before Chag.</font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" dir="ltr" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 120%;"><font face="Times New Roman">Therefore we are trying, out of goodwill, to help complete what’s missing and provide for these families in these special times.</font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" dir="ltr" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 120%;"><font face="Times New Roman">We have taken upon ourselves to help over 260 families, for each to receive a “basket” worth approximately 1000 NIS. </font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" dir="ltr" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 120%;"><font face="Times New Roman">We
know the families personally, and therefore we can personalize each
basket to accommodate the needs of the various family members.</font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" dir="ltr" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 120%;"><font face="Times New Roman">In
addition to food, cleaning products and other essentials, we collect
new, unused presents to add to each basket, in order to make the family
members- some of whom have never received presents- to feel special
during the holiday times. </font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" dir="ltr" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 120%;"><font face="Times New Roman">This
project has been running since 1998, and every year, unfortunately, the
number of families in need continues to grow. We work very hard to try
and keep up with the increasing financial costs each year. <span> </span></font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" dir="ltr" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 120%;"><font face="Times New Roman">One of the main things we take pride in is the fact that <b>ALL the money and help we receive goes fully and wholly to the families</b>. No salaries are paid; and we all volunteer purely out of goodwill in order to help those that are less fortunate. </font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" dir="ltr" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 120%;"><font face="Times New Roman">This
project is “Our Project”. We ourselves carry out every step in the
process- we collect the money, we buy the food, pack it ourselves and
finally deliver it to the families. </font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" dir="ltr" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 120%;"><font face="Times New Roman">We
really hope that indeed we will be able to attend to the needs of the
many families and enable all those children, elderly and people who have
to deal with daily hardship and strife, to enter the New Year with a
feeling that they are not alone, and with hopes to a brighter and
sweeter future.</font></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" dir="ltr" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; line-height: 120%;"><font face="Times New Roman">We ask you to be part of this operation.
