As crazy as this sounds, this issue starts our "koach" (twenty-eighth) year
of publishing Toras Aish! So I suppose a yaasher "koach" is in order to all
our subscribers and especially to those of you who've been there from the
beginning.

And on that note, a very special thank you to Micha Berger who began Toras
Aish all those years ago, and continues to commit time and energy to make
it easier for me to edit this publication every week. Kol hakavod Micha!
You're the best!

May this upcoming year be one of happiness, health, peace and prosperity!

Israeli chayalim (soldiers) & for everyone living in Israel. Please also
same some tehillim for the captive Israeli soldiers:
Guy ben Rina (Hever), disappeared near the Syrian-Israeli border in the
Golan Heights in August 1997;Tzvi ben Pninah (Feldman), Yekutiel Yehuda
Nachman ben Sarah (Katz), all captured at the Sultan Yaaqub battle in
Lebanon on June 11,1982.
