uses Rav Breuer's text, so it would not be two separate
"accurate manuscripts.">>

The Bar Ilan Keter does not use RW Breuer's text although both
referred to some of the same sources. Breuer compared accurate
manuscripts and the Venice Mikraot Gedolot (1525). When all or
almost all agreed on a word, that is what he used. Prof. R'
Menahem Cohen put the existing parts of the Keter into a
computer and compared all the places with the same word and/or
ta'am and found rules for things that the others considered
random.

The printed volumes of the Keter contain explanations of what
Prof. R' Cohen did and also has criticism of others who
preceded him including Breuer.

Bar Ilan Keter and Breuer are two independent texts despite the
fact that they ended up with only small differences. for
examplle, look at m'tagim in the Chumash. Breuer has less than
Heidenheim and the Bar Ilan Keter has much less than Breuer.
