<p>Nearly every berakhah starts out in second "Person" and closes in third. Like "shehakol nihyeh bidvaro" ("nihyah" in some nusachos), rather than "bidvarekha".</p>
<p>In Nusach haGra there are no exceptions to this rule, which is why the berakhah after the "short Shema" in Shacharis is either "meqadesh es shimkha barabim" or the Gra's "meqadesh shemo barabim" (although I think I've seen "hamMeqadesh" as a subvariant of either).</p>
