      I notice that that the subject has "continued".  I didn't see

      whatever came before so I might be behind the times.  However, I

      will make a comment anyway.<br>

      If the word pnei had a tipcha, a ta'am mafsik, as R' Shalom wrote,

      there would be a dagesh in the following kaf.  But the word pnei

      has a merkha which is a ta'am mechaber and there the following

      word is khol.<br>

      I can't figure out where R' Shalom saw a tipcha in pnei.<br>
