I think there might be a difference between a possesive and an
adjective:<br><br>
chaleiv akum = chalav shel akum = milk of a goy = milk that came from a

but chalav akum = goyishe milk<br>
like chalav tari = fresh

Sorry. Halav akum is indeed the possessive. Akum is not an
adjective, but a noun. Generally a clean way of saying
nokhri.<br><br>
And the semikhut of halav often follows that of hakham (qamatz, qamatz),
which becomes hakham (hataf patah, patah).<br><br>
Ashan becomes eshen, if that is of interest.<br><br>
