It's possible that tikoseivu got the pausal form because iirc some people stop there and do not say even v'seichoseimu.
Or if you were to put trope
It might read meircha tipcha esnachta siluq.
Where tikoseivu takes the esnachta
V'seichoseimu the siluq.
In Day school we sang a song pointed that way in the 1950's. Maybe it was due to Brinbaum, but I suspect it was an older form.
