Just a minor point, not of too much value:

Heidenheim points out that mikra kodesh has a meteg in the 
mem only when the word kodesh has a zakef katan but not with 
other ta'amim.  Cohen-Keter backs this up with statistics 
from the Keter that this is a general rule.
A meteg is much more common in word pairs ending with a 
zakef katan.
