[Mesorah] hishav'a li kayom

I believe it's the latter (nasog achor; shva na' under the veis). Note that here (in P'Tol'dos) "vayishava [lo]" is mil'ra (no nasog achor because of the ta'am mafsiq) while before (in P'Chayei Sarah re Eliezer swearing to Avraham), graced with a m'shareis (a munach), it is mil'eil, again presumably because of nasog achor.

All the best from

Subject: [Mesorah] hishav'a li kayom

Shavua tov.

In Tol'dos, 25:33, is "hishav'a li kayom". Is the mil'el "hishav'a"
supposed to be mil'el (so the sh'va is nach), or is it mil'el due to
nasog achor (and supposed to have a meseg under the shin, so the sh'va
is na)?

(And are my parenthetical analyses correct?)

Thanks,

Michael Hamm
