Subject: [Mesorah] peel (segol-segol) form

Hi, all,

I've been thinking about the peel (segol-segol) form, like eved, kerev,
etc., and am not finding any consistency in how these words form
connections (in the possessive singular). Compare:

(Here, any word that I do not know (for certain) appears in Tanach is
marked with an asterisk. And I don't have a concordance, so there are
some unnecessary asteisks.)

patach
^^^^^^
eved - avdi
keren - karni

segol
^^^^^
*ezer - ezri
neched - nechdi

chirik
^^^^^^
lekach - likchi
kerev- kirbah
*peresh - pirshah
rechev - richbo
*beten - bitnech

unknown (to me)
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
even - ?
pesach (with a sav) - ?
pesach (with a samach) - ?
*deles - ?
*gesher - ?
teref - ?

What gives?

Have a safe and meaningful nine days,
