<p dir="ltr">True, but I think the notion of magic days and procedures that gain even a measure of kapparah without necessitating teshuvah is also very problematic. (Or perhaps "confusing" would be a better description, as it moves the focus away from a "problematic halacha", chalila, and towards my obligation to understand it.)</p>
