What is your basis for asserting that Rav Schwab's approach to history is
something that was prevalent in the Litvishe Yeshiva world?

You are wrong about TIDE. First of all, TIDE is independent
of Frankfurt minhagim. Secondly, the writings of RSRH
continue to sell out. For example, Feldheim keeps printing more
copies of the new translation of the Hirsch Chumash. Dr.
Bondi, who is an editor of the Rabbi Dr. Joseph Breuer Publication
Society and a grandson of Rav Breuer, ZT"L, has assured me that TIDE
is very much alive and well given the constant demand for the writings of
Rav Hirsch.<br><br>

Mantel, his associate. Many Hirschians were horrified at what
he said. R. Mantel is not and never was a follower of
TIDE. I have no idea why KAJ took him as a rav.<br><br>
