the growing power of anti-Semitism, Rabbi Hirsch once remarked<br>
in a conversation : ''Just as mischievous children are pulled by<br>
the ears, so will they deal with us. The Jews are the schoolbooks<br>
of the nations, a disorderly pupil tears them. And they<br>
point to the high level of Gentile culture!"<br>
