<DIV>I would have liked to hear the Chazon Ish's tone of voice and see the
expression on his face and know the whole conversation, the whole context.
It is possible to say, "So take the punishment" in a tone and a context that
implies, "It's not really assur under certain circumstances and there isn't
really going to be a punishment." The Chazon Ish is not generally known to
have advocated the abrogation of halacha for the sake of expediency so I'd guess
this whole story is missing something.</DIV>
