<DIV>The question arose today at the Shabbos table as to what is the definition
of a pilegesh, and how does it differ from a regular wife? I said I had
heard that a pilegesh is a wife with no kesubah but then someone asked how could
that be -- if a man is not allowed to live with a woman without a kesubah?
Somebody please fill me in here, thank you!</DIV>
