Recently the <b>Hamodia Magazine</b> published a story with the title
"When a Volcano Did Hashem's Will." This story, in
essentially the same form, was sent to me by several people and appeared
in a number of publications. (Please see

not seem to be on the Internet.) <br><br>
Personally, I am a bit "disturbed: by the many "miracle"
stories that are circulated today. First of all, I am never certain
that they are true. Secondly, I wonder why people are so taken with
them. I have the feeling that today there is a trend to turn
Yahadus into a religion of hocus pocus. <br><br>
These and some other thoughts prompted me to write a letter to the Editor
of the <b>Hamodia Magazine. The Hamodia</b> published this letter in this
week's issue of the magazine. It is at <br><br>
