de'oraisa is the thing we want to safeguard, it is not a safeguard to protect or
prevent something else. Also, the Torah does not give a reason for
forbidding MZ -- although it does call it a to'eivah. Thus, it is
quite a stretch to posit that maybe the Torah forbids MZ in order to ensure the
safety of young males when they go to the mikva.</DIV>
