Why not determine the yud or lack of yud in sh'meih of y'hei sh'meih rabba from the usage of that word in the Aramaic sections of Tanakh.<br>

The word sh'meih appears seven times without a yud. It never appears with a yud. That proves something about the spelling of words in Aramaic.<br>
