If one develops a very bad toothache</div><div>on Shabbos or Yom Tov and is suffering intractable pain, would that qualify for being m'challel Shabbos or</div><div>Yom Tov and would the person have the halachic right to seek professional treatment? Bear in mind that</div><div>a serious abscess can be quite dangerous and need immediate treatment. Assuming one did not know the</div><div>reason for the excruciating pain, waiting may be harmful.
