This Brooklyn phenomenon obviously<BR>comes from the different educational philosophies of boys' and girls'<BR>schools.<BR><BR><FONT color=#ff0000>I also posted this idea, but it's not restricted to Brooklyn, although maybe even elsewhere it's due to its influence. Eveb here in Passaic, where the boys' and girls' schools are under the same <EM>hanhala,</EM> this distinction is still kept.
