[Avodah] Meaning of a particular trope

A congregant of mine has asked me why the word "Vayishma" at the beginning
of Parshas Yisro has the gershayim trope.

It seems a rare situation and I have not found any of the usual peirushim
dealing with this.

Looking for a sefer or peirush which might provide guidance on this subject
and would be grateful for suggestions.
