Rashi comments on the pasuk vayigash avraham vayomar that Vayigash connotes
3 things:
1.War
2. Piyus - conciliation
3 Prayer
And Rashi says that Avraham meant all 3.
What does it mean to go war with God? What does it mean piyus with god? How
does that fit in with our general conception of god and tefila?
