All of which happening in the context of a she'eilah about to'eles WRT
lashon hara.

I am not saying that LH means we don't air our problems, as awareness
of them is critical to addressing them. To'eles.

But...

I spend enough time on online discussions about our community to know
plenty of people have formed the opinion that everything is broken.
(And who knows how many children being raised by such people end
up concluding that the Torah as system doesn't work and it becomes a
critical element in our decision to go OTD?) So I don't think this fear
is an empty one.

If you muddy the waters by asking whether that purpose is in some
instance comparable or less than the problems consequent to people's
resulting impression of the community, you have to re-ask about whether
the to'eles is sufficient to overcome the issur LH.

Just pointing out a factor in assessing the height of the bar.

Tir'u baTov!
