[Avodah] Can One Point Out Shortcomings of Jewish Public Figures

Is it loshon harah to point out negative things about the public behavior of Jewish public figures?  For example,  let's suppose that a woman who is dubbed Orthodox in the media does not adhere to basic tznius standards.  (For example, there are many pictures of her on the Internet where this is clearly apparent.)  May one point this out on a blog or in an email that goes to a number of people?
