[Avodah] magnets on shabbat

[Eli Turkel]

Shmirat Shabbat prohibits putting or removing magnets from a refrigerator
(if they will be there for a long time) on shabbat

I dont really understand the coonection to sewing (tofer) and in my
experience people are not careful.
Any opinions?
