This is nearly but not 100% accurate.

The prenup in question was written by R' Willig (the RCA's beis din's
segan) and R' Marc Stern (making sure it was a meaningful contract
according to civil law). The prenup is backed by the RCA, and in fact
is aimed at requiring the couple to agree to Beth Din of the USA (RCA's
beis din) arbitration. Although it's trivial to make a parallel doc
for another beis din.

So it's not that the YU rashei yeshiva just now signed on to the idea
of a prenup. They signed a public appeal that more people use a shtar
most if not all of them already backed.
