At this point in time from the very little I have read about it, it is still only a (incomplete) theory with promise but not yet taken as a reality.  This is undoubtedly why you inserted the word "may." If this theory gets fully worked out and proves to be the correct (or at least better) depiction of our world what you say should follow.
