[Avodah] poretz hageder and chanukah....

there are many midrashim that talk about  what 
will be after the moshiach/eliyahu decide things
however, my question is, why would chanukah
remain (and why did the chachamim establish
it to begin with,  given that it was not the place
of the chashmanoaim, to light candles (non-
kohanim) in the beis hamikdash??
+++doesn't it set a bad example for children 
and adults alike, that to poretz hageder, or go
beyond boundaries that hashem has set up
for us, is rewarded?? (instead of punished)??
