[Avodah] Mi Ban Siach

[Gershon Dubin]

This prayer (?) is now fairly standard at Ashkenazi weddings.  Does anyone know what it means?  The closest I got was this http://www.kipa.co.il/ask/show/111826which is less than satisfactory.  Also, a source for the actual words and when it began to be sung at weddings would be helpful
