to Milhamoth HaShem - - see the paragraph beginning "v'yesh asher anahnu" on p. 8 of
volume 1 of Rabbi Bitton's
edition of Sefer HaMaor (which for some inexplicable reason he calls "Sefer Ba'al HaMaor").

... not that I don't agree with your basic point ...
