About the closed hei, is this a halachic/religious issue, or is it just an interesting script, like discussing the lack of shelf overhanging the upright on the right side of the dalet in kesav Rashi? IOW, any indication this was done in STa"M? It is only then that we have RGD's question about this hei not fitting the gemara's description. :-)BBii! -Micha
