I was thinking along the same lines
Halachah might mattir A dilutted issur
BUT
Certain individuals are more [spiritually] sensitive and NEED to be
machmir upon themselves even then
And Akiva gave us the rationale - it's more chashuv to such a sensitive
person. Maybe due to their palates being more refined or to their
ruchniyyus being more attenuated, whatever...
