[Avodah] Seeking Source for Quote from R Eliezer

In Chofetz Chaim Daily companion P. 259 R. Eliezer Hagadol is quoted
advising his son: "Do not sit with groups that talk about the faults of others..."
Where can this be found?     

In the B'air Mayim Chaim, the Chofetz Chaim remarks that there are numerous references to this concept in other places in Tanach and in halachos from the Rabanan. In Tehillim Perek Alef, for example, we are told how fortunate one is if he avoids the company of sinners and scoffers. In addition, check the Chofetz Chaim at the end of prohibition number 4.
